Let the Season Begin!

With the new season just around the corner, Ngongotahā Bowling Club is getting ready to welcome members back for another year on the green.

Our Opening Night will be held on Thursday 3rd September from 6:00pm, and it’s shaping up to be a great evening to reconnect with fellow members and hear what’s in store for the 2026/27 season.

The evening will give members the opportunity to collect their club books and get up to speed with everything happening around the club. There will also be plenty to look forward to, with members hearing about exciting opportunities, events and activities coming up throughout the season.

Our selectors, sub-committee chairs and other key people around the club will also be sharing what they have planned and give members a better insight into the different ways to get involved.

And, of course, Opening Night wouldn’t be complete without some good food and good company. The evening will be a potluck, so please bring a plate — with something on it! Whether it’s a favourite family dish, something sweet, something savoury or simply something you enjoy making, bring it along to share.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up, have a chat, enjoy some food and get excited about the season ahead.
